The Infectious Disease Modeling Team at Predictive Science includes Pete Riley, Michal Ben-Nun, Jamie Turtle, and Steven Riley, as well as our intern, Ishaan Shah. Pete, Michal, and Jamie are multi-disciplinary computational scientists who have developed mechanistic models over the last decade or so. Steven provides subject matter expertise (SME) in how to focus our specific efforts. Our models have been used to study the fundamental science associated with transmission of different pathogens as well as forecast specific diseases (Influenza, COVID-19, and Dengue, in particular). Currently, we are focused on developing both scientific models and forecast tools to help mitigate the effects of COVID-19, for several government agencies.
