Number density normalization: \(n_0 = 10^8\) cm⁻³.

Code-unit number density 1 corresponds to \(10^8\) particles cm⁻³. Note that MAS stores mass density (dimensionless \(\rho\)), related to the number density by \(\rho_\text{code} = (m_p / n_0) \cdot n\). See FN_RHO for the mass-density normalization.
