Temperature normalization for MAS.
Derived from the condition that the ideal-gas pressure \(P = n\,k_B\,T\) equals the dynamic pressure \(\rho_0\,V_0^2\) at code-unit temperature 1:
\[T_0 = \frac{m_p\,V_0^2}{k_B} = \frac{m_p\,L_0^2}{k_B\,T_0^2} \approx 28\;\text{MK}.\]Code-unit temperatures of order unity therefore correspond to tens of megakelvin, consistent with hot coronal plasma.
